We would like to introduce you to our non-profit 501c3 organization, Hog Town Inc.. Our organization is registered with the state of Michigan and raises money for charities such as United Hospice Services & Military Veterans.
The Hog Town Run originated about 7 years ago in the little village of Melvin, located in the thumb of Michigan. With the help of the Melvin Tavern owner. Larry Drouillard, a small group of friends organized the first Hog Town Run. The proceeds from this run was donated to a family to help with their childs medical expenses. 176 riders came out for the innaugural run.
Prior to the second annual run, it was decided that proceeds would be donated to United Hospice Services. 214 riders came out for this run.
In 2007, our 3rd run brought 351 riders.
In January 2008, Hog Town Inc. was born. A 501c3 nonprofit organization registered through the state of Michigan. It was at this time that Hog Town Inc. became " Dedicated to United Hospice Services."
Our 2008 run brought 720 riders and raised $14,000. We continued this tradition in 2009 and 2010. A total of $80,000 donated to Hospice in 6 years. Over this time we have also donated over $10,000 to our local VFW with money raised from our Annual Christmas Dinner Dance for Veterans.
We have also hepled the children by dontating toys and money to Sanilac County Make A Wish Program and Thumbs Up for Kids. Donations have also been made to the Shining Tree Of Love at Marlette Hospital and Relay For Life.
Hog Town Inc. has many acheivements to be proud of, with the latest being the 2011 Lifetime Acheivement Award given by the Firemans Equiptment Fund Comittee of Brown City.
This 2011 year Hog Town has manage to brake the record by donating 17,500.00 to HOSPICE

We have over 30 Active Members that Attend Our Hog Town Meetings.
Our membership dues are $15.00 per person & $25.00 a couple per year.
